Privacy notice
Controller
VitalMarks is operated by Jernej Brlek, a natural person in the Ljubljana area, until a Slovenian company (d.o.o.) is registered. Until that company is entered and named, Jernej Brlek is the controller of personal data for this service. This notice will be updated when the company is named.
This site does not yet publish a separate privacy address. To ask about a membership request, use the email address you submitted on the form. We reply to that address.
What VitalMarks is
VitalMarks is not a clinic and is not a healthcare provider. AI explains numbers. A doctor diagnoses. The text is educational. It is not a diagnosis, a treatment, or a substitute for a physician.
What we collect today
- Membership interest form: email, chosen plan, the consents you tick, language, and whether the request is for a person or a team. A company name is optional.
- Google sign-in for members. There is no VitalMarks password. Google provides the identity used to sign in.
- In this browser: language, theme, a local signup confirmation, and sample history if you confirm it.
What we do not collect
Card numbers are not collected on these pages. There is no analytics and no advertising. Real laboratory files are not accepted. Sample data in the preview may be fictional. Do not upload a real laboratory PDF until the vault is live for health data.
Retention
When the service database is connected, the membership request is stored in the European Union. Otherwise the signup confirmation stays in this browser (key formalab-waitlist-v1). Sample history stays in this browser (key formalab-demo-history-v1) until you delete it.
Vault, when it is available
Members sign in with Google. Keys are managed by the app and bound to that account. They are not derived from a password. Results will be stored encrypted in the European Union. You open them. A doctor sees a result only if you explicitly share it, and only for a limited time. AI and file reading run only on jobs you approve. This is not a promise that decryption is impossible for the operator. This release does not store real results.
Your rights
You may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and portability where those rights apply. You may withdraw consent. You may complain to the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia. Clear local sample history in the preview settings.
